Fall Home Decor Must Haves
I know summer is in full heat, pun intended. However, every August I can’t help but get excited for the change in seasons. In the South our fall’s are usually pretty short. We usually just go straight from summer to winter, but that doesn’t stop me in the home decor department. Over the weekend I popped into a few stores and I just felt so inspired to make my home feel warm and inviting. Hopefully this post will spark those same feelings in you!
One of the key ways to bring a warm feel to your house is through varying texture. Think thick blankets, woven baskets, and copper or gold accents. You’ll find that the difference in texture will create interest without feeling like your pieces contrast. One of my favorite things to do is put greenery in textured vases, add think blankets to a woven basket or hang on a hook as wall decor, and trade out my pillows for something that fit the season-like the ones above!
Favorite Fall Pillows
One of my favorite things about fall is the variety in color pallets. You can go more traditional with oranges, white and red or more moody with greens and navy. This year I’ve been loving the greens but I also find myself gravitating towards plums, and more earthy tones. What color pallet are you going with this year?
